Today is Cancun’s 50 anniversary, our city located at the Caribbean Sea and one of the youngest cities in Mexico. Cancun’s history is written by its social and cultural diversity, it is the land of people migrating from other cities of the country and people from other countries who visited it, fell in  love with and decided to stay and build the city growth. 

Its work force has developed a customer-service focused culture which combined with the friendly spirit of its people offers a great experience to the visitors and this stands as a reference of our destination. 

As a result of the service quality, Mayan Culture remains nearby, the beauty of the beaches, and diversity of accommodation options; our city is one of the main contributors to the Gross Domestic Product generated by the Tourism Industry as one of the main preferred destinations and has one of the best airports in Latin America with connection to practically all the world.

We are proud to say despite the many ups and downs there has been, our strength has allowed to recover from nature phenomena, economic crisis, epidemic threats with solidarity to our people as this is the key to raise again after the situations that have tested us.

This year we have to celebrate our anniversary at home, protecting ourselves and our loved ones, ready to retake our labor to make our place a paradise for our visitors. However, this time is different because we also need to be empathic with the rest of the world and trust the same feeling comes from others as well. We are confident will be able to continue our growth and it will now be more rewarding as we will overcome the current crisis as a whole, as citizens of the world taking care of each other.
