Cancun and Riviera Maya remain safe for tourists, locals and welcome new events diverted to our destination because of COVID-19. The US CDC keeps the classification Green ‐ Level 1 for our destination which means there is no reason to pospone or cancel trips to Cancun and Riviera Maya where the current conditions are great for vacationing, the weather is sunny with temperature over 29°C (85°F) today as the spring is starting. The hotel occupancy from January to February has increased up to 5% being one of the favourite destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean. Our government is being serious and cautious about this issue. UPDATED US STATE DEPARTMENT TRAVEL ADVISORY CONFIRMS  QUINTANA ROO AND ALL OF ITS TOURIST DESTINATIONS ARE SAFE TO VISIT The U.S. State Department updated its Travel Advisory website information for Mexico and reconfirmed that the State of Quintana Roo and all of its tourist destinations are without travel restrictions and are safe to visit. These world‐class destinations include Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Riviera Maya, Holbox, Isla Mujeres, Puerto Morelos, Bacalar, Tulum, Mahahual, and Chetumal.
